We offer year-round opportunities for all to serve in the Worship Ministry here at The MET. Whether your passions are in drama, choir, praise teams, recording, song writing, or instrumental music—we have a place for you to use your talents to reach others for Christ.
If you are looking for fellowship, worship, praise, fun, and fulfillment—your place to serve may be in Worship Ministry.
MET Classic & Worship Choirs
Rehearsal | Wednesdays at 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. in the Rehearsal Hall
Our choirs consist of teams of 40 (one choir per service) that commit for a semester. The purpose of this choir is to lead worship for the weekend services. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night, and are designed to experience God through worship.
Event Choir
Each year we have mass choir events—such as The Gathering and A MET Christmas. The rehearsals generally start 4-6 weeks before the concert by shifting our focus to learn the music.
We have two major Event Choir opportunities each year:
- The Gathering in August
- A MET Christmas
Praise Teams
Praise Teams are made up of small groups who are auditioned at the beginning of our three seasons—Spring, Summer, and Fall. Only those who are MET members, and serving in the Worship Choir may audition for the Praise Team.
Solos are auditioned throughout the year depending on need and are open to everyone.
