Contemporary School of Fine Arts currently offers two methods of study through Private Lessons and Classes.

Please fill out your preferred day and time on the student registration
form. Class schedules will be determined by the school administration.
Placement
will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list
will be available once all schedules have been filled.
Children (ages six and above) as well as adults may register for both private lessons and classes.
Private Lessons
Course
instruction provides individual guidance in developing performance
technique, learning repertoire, ear training and transcription, and
strengthening a sense of musical direction in preparing for performance
of music. Each student will be assessed the first lesson for current
knowledge and skill and the approach for each student will be
individualized based on level of skill and desired goals.
Private Lessons are available for the following:
Piano
Voice
Dance
Acoustic Guitar
Electric Guitar
Acoustic Bass
Electric Bass
Drum Set
Percussion
Stringed Instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass)
Brass Instruments (trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba)
Woodwind Instruments (saxes and double reeds, clarinet, flute)
Classes
Students will learn together in small groups with the class method. This is a great method for learning the
fundamentals that apply to all areas of an applied study. Classes will allow students to learn together but still be small enough to support individual attention. As students progress, they should seek to study individually with an instructor who will tailor their experience to their learning style.
Classes are available for the following:
Piano / Vocal / Contemporary Dance / Rhythm Section / Percussion- fundamentals and ensemble / Recording Arts / Music Theory / Music Notation using Finale®
